Software & Windows
It’s fair to say that we have many years of experience dealing with Microsoft office and other commonly used applications / software.
Usually things are working fine untill suddenly … they’re not.
Regardless of your software issue, give us a call to discuss the problem.
Sometimes all it takes is a Windows update to go wrong and your entire computer stops working.
Perhaps you’ve been on the same install for years and everything has slowed to a crawl.
We are no strangers to Windows and the weird and wonderfull issues that arrise.

Maintenance
Maintaining your computer is much like servicing a car. There are things that benefit from a check once a year.
When you bring your device in for maintenance the first thing we will do is open the device and remove dust from surfaces, vents and fans. This helps the device to breathe easier keeping it cooler.
We then remove the CPU cooler and clean away the old thermal interface material. Replacing this with new, high quality material. This aids in thermal transfer keeping your CPU cool and working optimally.
We then perform a health check on your storage devices.
Be it Mechanical, SSD, M.2 (sata & nvme).
This will help in identifying a need to replace and possibly prevent any data loss.
With the essentials out of the way, we can optionally continue the service to check the entire machine. This cover’s but is not limited to:
Bios configuration, battery health, webcam, speakers, USB ports, display outputs, charging port etc.
A full report is printed for your peace of mind.
Upgrades
Still on a slow mechanical spinning drive? With the cost of SSD’s now there’s no better time to change your storage!
Either keep the same size or upgrade. We can 1:1 clone your drive or do a fresh OS install with optional file transfer.
If your drive is slow, old, or has errors. Why not book it in for a service and get a storage health check. If the drive needs replacing we’d be happy to do that as a part of the service.
If your drive has failed, we can replace it and attempt to recover data from the perished drive.
Perhaps the new game you want to play is running badly?
Low frame rates can really sour the experience!
We use various monitoring tools to analyse the system in use.
We can then determine if you are restricted by the CPU or the GPU, and the best ways to resolve the problem.

When you decide you’d like to go ahead, we’ll formulate a quote for you including labour for the build.
Once this invoice shows as paid, your PC will be with you a few days later.
